Use the article request form and a librarian will try to locate an article for you. Requesting Articles - Overview & Policies1. Are you using a library workstation? If so, speak to a librarian for assistance before submitting the form. We may be able to suggest some helpful alternatives. 2. This service is provided for library users with a current library card. Please be sure to bring your card to your community library when picking up your items. 3. ILL items may be renewed according to the GCPL borrowing policy. 4. The GCPL pays lending fees for ILL materials up to a certain amount per item. Additional costs must be paid by the requesting patron. Patrons are notified of charges in advance and may choose to cancel the request rather than pay. 5. If an item is returned late or is lost, the following charges will be assessed:

NOTICE: The copyright law of the United States (Title 17 U.S. code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives a re authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law. |
