Event: 'Let's Talk About It: Jewish Literature Discussion Series'

Join us for a reading and discussion series like no other! Led by a local scholar, Let's Talk About It: Jewish Literature will feature lively discussion of five books relating to the theme Modern Marvels: Jewish Adventures in the Graphic Novel.

All sessions take place on Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the following dates:

  • September 9 - A Contract with God: And Other Testament Stories by Will Eisner
  • September 23 - The Complete Maus: A Survivor’s Tale by Art Spiegelman
  • October 7 - Julius Knipl, Real Estate Photographer: Stories by Ben Katchor
  • October 28 - The Quitter by Harvey Pekar
  • November 11 - The Rabbi’s Cat by Joann Sfar

Each session will take place at Wittenberg University, Hollenbeck Hall Room 131.

Local scholar, Dr. Matthew J. Smith, Associate Professor of Communication at Wittenberg University, will lead each discussion.
