WELCOME to Greene County Animal Control. The mission of this website is to assist citizens looking for a lost animal or interested in adopting.  Due to the overwhelming overpopulation of dogs and cats, we have a never ending supply of candidates for adoption.  There is always a special need for homes for aged and special needs pets. These can be especially demanding and rewarding, if you are dedicated and able to accept such a challenge.  Sometimes these require extra time, experience, or financial support.                 

FAIRBORN Animal Control and the shelter are not included in this site but may be in the near future. If your animal might be there, call 937-754-3073 or go to 550 Pierce Drive, behind the Arby’s on Broad Street. The hours there are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm weekdays and 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.

The Shelter is open Monday thru Friday 9 am to 6:30 pm. We are open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 (noon) to 4 pm.  We answer emergency calls after hours only.  If we need to be contacted during off hours, we can be reached by calling the Sheriff's office or your local Police Dept.
