Here's your source for lots of cheap family recipes
Do you need to slash your food bill? I've been there, more than once. I've had to track every penny and experiment with cheap cuts of meat I didn't know how to cook and new vegetables I hadn't eaten before. So I started keeping notes on our favorites recipes. I learned what to do with a bag of dried beans (try these tasty pinto beans), how to make my own pizza instead of spending $20 on takeout, and how to use up leftovers with something tasty like fried rice or burritos.
How to Cook a Turkey
Looking for some ideas on how to cook a turkey? If you've got one you can turn over, try this turkey recipe. It takes more attention in the kitchen but is fantastic. There's also a really good turkey recipe where you cover it with cheesecloth soaked in wine and butter. No turning required, but you do want to baste it. Here's some more turkey tips and Thanksgiving ideas.
