Talking book machines are specially adapted cassette tape or record players for reading recorded books and magazines. Talking book machines are provided for people who are visually impaired or physically disabled. Talking book machines are available at no charge to individuals, schools, nursing homes, and institutions for people who meet at least one of the following criteria:
