Outreach Services

The library's Outreach Services department provides service to:

  • homebound Greene County residents
  • rehabilitation/nursing facilities
  • senior citizen centers
  • retirement homes
  • church groups

Homebound Delivery

We'll deliver library materials to Greene County residents who are homebound due to age, illness, or physical disability.

Radio Reading Service

The WORDS Radio Reading Service provides audio access to newspapers, magazines, and other print media to those unable to read on their own.

Talking Book Machines

Talking book machines are specially adapted cassette tape or record players for reading recorded books and magazines. Talking book machines are provided for people who are visually impaired or physically disabled.
