Getting a PIN

The library offers 24-hour telephone access to your account when you have a PIN (Personal Identification Number). You can use your library card number and PIN to renew your materials, check your requests, and check on overdue materials 24 hours a day by calling 374-1396!

24-hour library access is also available online. Your library card number and PIN will allow you to put requests on materials using the catalog and check your library account for requests and overdues.

To get a PIN, you can:

  1. Ask a staff person at the check-out desk, or
  2. Call the library nearest you, or
  3. Assign yourself a PIN by using the "My Account" feature at the top of the screen. Type in your name and library card number. Enter any 4 digit number in the text box asking for your PIN. If you do not already have a PIN, the computer will ask you to enter a new PIN. If you do have a PIN, the computer will give you an error message and ask you for the correct PIN. Or, you can
