The Friends of the Cedarville Community Library work to support and promote the use of the Library. Funds raised by the Friends support Library programs. Friends interact with the community at two annual events: the Friends Booksale held on Labor Day weekend in conjunction with Cedarfest, and a Library open house during the Little Town of Lights festival traditionally held on the evening of the first Saturday in December.

Membership in the Friends group is open to all. The annual membership fee is $5.
