How to Get a Library Card

1. You must come to the library to be issued a full-service library card.

However, for immediate access to our premium databases and to request up to two items, Ohio residents can create a library account and register as a temporary online patron of the Greene County Public Library.

2. On your first visit to the library, bring with you something that can verify your address: e.g. photo I.D.

3. Your library card will be mailed to you.

4. At the time you apply for a library card you may borrow two items from the library.

5. Your library card enables you to borrow materials from any Greene County Public Library location.

6. Library cards must be renewed annually.
